Terms of sale and licence

These terms are between you and Istek, Turkey, the maker of istek. By buying or using istek you accept them.

Who sells it

Direct purchases are processed by Dodo Payments as merchant of record. Dodo takes the payment, charges any sales tax or VAT and issues the invoice, and Dodo's buyer terms also apply to the payment. Purchases through the Mac App Store are sold by Apple under Apple's terms.

Your licence

• A Single licence lets one person use istek on every Mac they use.
• A Team licence covers the number of people it was bought for. Each seat is for one person, who may use it on every Mac they use.
• A site licence covers everyone at the organisation named on the invoice.

The licence is perpetual: it does not expire, and it needs no account or activation. You may not resell, sublicense or redistribute istek, or reverse-engineer it except where the law allows it.

Price and updates

The price is a one-time payment shown on the site at the time you buy. There is no subscription. Every update in the 1.x series is included. A future major version may be sold as a paid upgrade; the version you bought keeps working either way.

Delivery

istek is delivered digitally. After a direct purchase you receive a link to download it by email, and we email a new link when an update ships.

Refunds

Direct purchases can be refunded in full within 14 days; see the refund policy. Nothing in these terms limits the rights consumer law gives you.

Warranty and liability

We work to make istek reliable, but it is provided as it is. It sends requests to servers you choose, and you are responsible for what you send to them. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to the price you paid for istek.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. This does not take away the protection of the consumer law of the country you live in.

Changes

If these terms change, the new version is published here with a new date. A purchase stays under the terms in effect when it was made.
